The science behind how the ultimate aliens are made is really interesting to me, and they did make a good first impression in Alien Force. The two scenes that featured the ultimates do a good job of selling you on the concept. Seeing Ultimate Humungousaur decimate a horde of regular Humungousaurs and Ultimate Swampfire take on Vilgax and unleash this mega-blast of blue fire on him all generated a lot of hype for this new gimmick. It got a lot of people excited to see more of them and to see which aliens would end up getting ultimate forms, but to be honest, what we ended up getting was pretty disappointing to say the least.
